The Company

Our client is a global biopharmaceutical company.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for achieving defined sales targets
  • Monitoring of development and implementation of key account plans
  • Responsibility for the individual coaching and development of sales team by individual determination of developmental needs/strengths and execution of individualized development programs
  • Responsibility for efficient regional budget planning and controlling
  • Sales analysis on regional level and Definition and monitoring of sales goals for individual sales team member
  • Determination of right targeting, segmentation and focusing
  • Support of organization and implementation of medical education
  • Customer, market and competitive analysis
  • Implementation of the marketing strategy
  • Scientific expert advice and support of key opinion leaders
  • Participation in national and international symposia and workshops

Candidate Profile

 

Education and Experience

  • Life science degree (university, college) or equivalent professional experience preferred; alternatively  Business or Business Administration degree
  • Ideally app. 3-5 years of leadership experience in pharmaceutical industry
  • Proven successful supervision of regional sales teams is mandatory
  • Knowledge of the distribution structures and distribution channels of drugs
  • Marketing- and sales-oriented thinking and working
  • Several years of qualified work experience in pharmaceutical sales service of a research-based, pharmaceutical company
  • Good English
