The Company

Our client a global leading company in the medical field of medical devices.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsibility to develop and maintain relationships with decision makers in sick funds and in the government, ensuring optimal access of product portfolio
  • Identify new business opportunities
  • Define and implement strategic action plan to ensure optimal access of product portfolio
  • Support process of approval within sick funds including leading of negotiations
  • Provide market insight
  • Develop value propositions for product reimbursement

Candidate Profile

Education and Experience

  • Academic degree in Life Science or Business Management – or equivalent
  • First experience in Market Access in the German market or experience in a senior sales and / or marketing management role or a key account role in the medical industry or a purchasing role in sick funds
  • Contacts to medicine, health and professional policies that apply to the medical profession
  • Strong relations with decision makers and KOL’s in the medical sector

Functional / Specific Competencies

  • Good business acumen and analytical skills
  • Strong negotiations skills
  • Strong understanding of health economics
  • Good knowledge of the reimbursement system in Gernany
