The Company

Our client is an international, global innovator in oncology.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Scientific interface between the Company and the healthcare professional communities with respect to communicating about the company’s clinical development plan and other research and development plans
  • Develops teaching materials as appropriate, facilitates investigator sponsored research on marketed and investigational indications
  • Provides medical and/or scientific data about the products
  • Increases therapy awareness amongst prescribers and nonprescribers
  • Responsible for the education/certification of new prescribers
  • Serving as a resource and mentor to field team members
  • Attendance and coverage at assigned Medical Meetings, Organization of advisory boards, etc.
  • Supports the product through medical communications, scientific support for promotional activities and other related medical activities including, but not limited to studies, trainings, and medical information
  • Develops, maintains and extends contacts with national experts and medical professionals in the field of therapeutic area

Candidate Profile

Education and Experience

  • Professional degree in natural science, medical or technical field
  • Advanced scientific or health related degree preferred. Pharmacist (PharmD or RPh), Medical Doctor (MD), or other clinical/scientific experience
  • Experience in a similar role

  • Demonstrate fluency in articulating scientific concepts and data
  • Prescriber focus oriented: bring expertise and innovation and collaborate with the prescriber
  • Good judgment, ability to adapt and change in a shifting environment
  • Detailed oriented, highly organized and highly flexible
  • Ability to multitask and meet challenging deadlines
  • Gets energized by working in a start-up environment
  • German and English a must, any other language a plus
