The Company

Our client is an international, global innovator in oncology.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Identifies high potential prescribers by using her / his own experience, market data and customer interactions to understand the flow of patients in her / his region, and succeeds in engaging them as reference centres
  • Increases therapy awareness amongst physicians, and works with them towards establishing the value proposition towards all stakeholders (Neurosurgeons, Radiation oncologists, Neuro-oncologists, Oncologists)
  • Developing the therapy accounts in her / his region
  • Build long standing and solid relationship to existing and new therapy prescribers
  • Certifies new centres, and subsequently develops with them programs and actions towards increasing the centre’s ability to attract, initiate, and successfully treat patients
  • This position is field-based and requires extensive travel (60%-80%)
  • He/ she interacts with all key stakeholders in her / his region

Candidate Profile

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in business/science or equivalent
  • 3-5 years’ experience in direct interaction with the healthcare system
  • Equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree

Functional / Specific Competencies

  • Must be self-directed and able to complete projects
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication- and negotiation skills
  • Strong ability to work hard (above average)
  • Capable of prioritizing and comfortable with making decisions ‘without fully knowing’
  • Detailed oriented, highly organized and flexible
  • Ability to multitask and meet challenging deadlines
  • Gets energized by working in a start-up environment.
